Delete your account
This page explains how clients and workers can delete a Joe's Odd Jobs Services account and the associated personal data.
Delete your account in the app
- Open Joe's Odd Jobs Services and sign in.
- Open your Profile.
- Scroll down and select Delete Account.
- Read the confirmation message, then select Delete.
Deleting your account is permanent and signs you out of the app.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, email us from the address connected to your account. Include whether you are a client or worker and the phone number associated with the account. We may ask you to verify ownership before completing the request.

When account deletion is completed, we delete the active authentication account and the associated client or worker profile, including the profile's contact and account information.
What may be retained
Some job, message, payment, payout, tax, identity-verification, safety, fraud-prevention, restriction, dispute, audit, and legal records may be retained when needed to complete transactions, protect users, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, comply with tax or accounting rules, or meet other legal obligations.
Retained records are limited to those purposes and kept only for the period required by the applicable legal, tax, accounting, safety, dispute, or backup requirement. When that period ends, the records are deleted or de-identified where appropriate.
